Technical Details
Troika uses a client/server
model that provides optimum performance, security
and reliability. The client portion of the application
utilises Microsoft Access© for reporting and
connectivity to the SQL Server database (via an ODBC
data source), Visual Basic components and web browser
client interface. The server side of the configuration
utilises Microsoft SQL Server© (which is one
of the leading database solutions on the market today)
and Internet Information Services (IIS).

a server running Microsoft Terminal Services and also
published as an application within a Citrix©

Server Requirements
Operating System: Microsoft Windows
2003, Microsoft Windows Small Business Server 2003,
Microsoft Windows 2000 Server Family, Terminal Services.
Microsoft SQL Server © RDBMS: Microsoft
SQL 2000 Standard or Enterprise Edition, Microsoft
SQL 2005 Standard or Enterprise Edition.
MS SQL 2005 Express (free to download
from Microsoft).
Memory
Minimum recommended 512 megabytes
(MB) of RAM, larger workgroups may require more resources.
1 Gigabyte (GB) recommended.
Processor - A minimum of 600 MHz
processor is required for SQL 2005 Express. A 1 GHz
processor or greater is recommended.
Hard
Disk Space
For SQL Server:
Approximately 350 MB of available
hard-disk space for the recommended installation
Approximately
425 MB of additional available hard-disk space for
SQL Server Books Online, SQL Server Mobile Books Online,
and sample databases.
For Windows
Server:
1.25 to 2
GB of available hard-disk space
For Troika:

administrator under guidance from Finapps Support.

Set & Sort Order), to load the initial data

768 resolution, small fonts and high colour (16
bit or greater).
